Hi, I’m Whitney

— the florist behind Double Blooms. I design joyful, garden-style floral arrangements with a whimsical twist, always guided by nature, movement, and emotion.

I was raised in Charleston and spent the last nine years living in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Asheville, North Carolina. My floral style is deeply influenced by both landscapes — the salt air and soft skies of the Lowcountry, and the wildflower meadows, waterfalls, and dreamy flower farms tucked in the mountains.

Double Blooms was born from my love for locally grown flowers and the way a single bloom can completely transform a moment. I believe florals aren’t just decorations — they’re little reminders of joy, softness, and presence.

I specialize in floral designs for intimate gatherings, elopements, non-profit events, and weekly arrangements that shift with the seasons. My arrangements are garden-inspired — a little wild, a little whimsical, and always rooted in what’s in bloom nearby. I work with local farms across the Carolinas to source fresh, character-filled stems.

This work is also deeply personal. In 2023, I lost my twin sister, Sara Beth. She was my biggest source of laughter, love, and goofiness — and everything I make carries a little of her spirit. Double Blooms is my way of honoring her light and staying connected to joy.

Thanks for being here. I hope my flowers bring a little softness, color, and magic to your day.
